Caroline Sebastian is a wardrobe stylist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.    Prior to moving to Minneapolis, Caroline attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY where she concentrated her studies in Art History and Sculpture.  Upon completing her degree in 2007, Caroline immersed herself in the New York art and fashion communities, working at Rivington Arms Gallery, then for independent fashion houses such as Judi Rosen, Built By Wendy, Correll Correll, Electric Love, No. 6, and Electric Feathers.    During her tenure as First Assistant to Designer/ Creative Director Leana Zuniga of Electric Feathers, Caroline worked on myriad special projects including dressing the political cabaret troupe  The Citizen’s Band for a performance at The Highline Ballroom , a LEGS Media video fashion week segment for  Style.com  starring Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur  , Parker Posey’s wardrobe for “The Love Guide,”  the  W Hotels / Electric Feathers SS12 presentation  for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, and the design and production of six collections.    In addition to look books for Electric Feathers and the No.6 collection and blog, Caroline’s styling work has appeared in publications such as TWILL, SOMA, and Greek Marie Claire, and her personal style has appeared in New York Magazine and Elle.com.  Since transplanting to Minneapolis, Caroline has collaborated with local photographers Anthony Georgis, Emily Utne, and Colleen Eversman, as well as fine artist Stephanie Colgan, as a wardrobe stylist.  She recently collaborated with art director and influencer Madelynn Furlong of the Wide Eyed Legless blog.   She styled the Stephanie’s Inc., Heimie’s Haberdashery, and Caroline Hayden X Fairbault Woolen Mill segments for the MN4MN fashion weekend event at The Shops on West End in St. Louis Park.  She is currently making the transition into her true calling, costuming and wardrobe for film.  In the past year she has costumed several independent shorts by Minneapolis' Greyduck Productions including "Hearts Want (2017),"- winner of Best Short at the Twin Cities Film Fest- the upcoming dystopian thriller "The Chairman (2018)," and comedy "The Hostess (2018)."  Caroline most recently worked as the costume designer on the upcoming comedy "Christmas Break-In (2018) starring Danny Glover and Denise Richards.  She also sells vintage from her personal archive on Instagram under the moniker Xanadu Vintage and coordinates pop-ups around the Twin Cities.         In addition to styling, Caroline’s interests lie primarily in clothing design, textile arts, and fashion history.  She enjoys sewing, knitting, natural dyeing, embroidery, millinery, and is developing her own pieces for a capsule collection.  When she isn’t dedicating herself to all things sartorial, she can be found hanging out with her husband and their cat-child, Bowie.
